Terms of Service
1. What this service does
Bookingami, operated by Null Pointer Apps, places telephone calls to businesses on your behalf using an AI assistant, and reports back what was said and what was agreed. By using it you agree to these terms.
2. Private beta
Access is by invitation and free of charge during the beta. We may change, suspend or end the service, or any account, at any time. Do not rely on it for anything urgent, medical, or otherwise consequential.
3. You authorise each call
No call is placed until you confirm it. When you confirm, you authorise us to telephone the number you supplied and to state, on the call, your name and what you have asked for. You confirm you are entitled to give us that number and to have that request made on your behalf.
4. What you must not use it for
Do not use Bookingami to harass, threaten, deceive or repeatedly call anyone; to place calls to emergency services; for marketing, sales or political calls; for debt collection; or for anything unlawful. Do not use it to impersonate another person. Do not submit numbers you are not entitled to call.
You are responsible for the legality of the calls you ask for, including any consent that may be required where you or the business are located.
5. What the assistant will and will not do
The assistant identifies itself as an AI at the start of every call and again if asked. It does not read out payment card numbers, government ID numbers or account credentials, and it ends the call if the business asks not to be contacted. It can only repeat what you told us; it does not invent facts about you.
6. It is not a person and it can be wrong
The assistant is automated. It can mishear, misunderstand, agree to the wrong time, or fail to reach anyone. Check the transcript and confirm anything that matters directly with the business. We do not guarantee that a booking is made, that it is correct, or that the business will honour it.
7. No recording
Calls are not audio-recorded. You receive a written transcript produced by the telephony provider, which may contain transcription errors.
8. Your account
Keep your sign-in credentials secure and do not share your account. Tell us at shawntsia@gmail.com if you believe it has been used without your permission.
9. Liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Null Pointer Apps is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for missed, incorrect or unfulfilled appointments arising from your use of the service.
10. Ending it
You may stop using Bookingami at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing shawntsia@gmail.com. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
